Wayland Town Crier 12/16/10: Wayland, Marlborough, Medway named Green Communities. Marlborough, Medway and Wayland are among 18 cities and towns newly designated as Green Communities. Today's announcement by Gov. Deval Patrick's office makes these towns eligible for a total of more than $3.6 million in grants for local renewable power and energy efficiency projects. The state has now named 53 Green Communities.
