Ever been to a real movie premiere? Break out your glam and glitz! Friday, April 15th marks the World Premiere of Disney’s Lemonade Mouth, a movie based on the book of the same title by Wayland’s own Mark Peter Hughes! Come to the Wayland Middle School to see the world premiere broadcast live “cinema-style” onto the big screen! Come early, and join the pre-show celebrations: Don your Hollywood best or shake the mothballs out of those old bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos (Glam and Glitz Optional!).
Starting at 6:15pm:
- Walk the Red Carpet with Paparazzi

- Raffle (signed Lemonade Mouth books) and other surprises
- Delicious Treats Bake sale

Starting at 6:45pm, Mark Peter Hughes himself and his editor, Stephanie Lane Elliot from Random House, will talk about the making of the book and the movie

What’s the movie about?
Lemonade Mouth is the story of five high school freshmen outsiders who meet in detention, form a band save the world – and maybe even the school music program which is being slashed due to budget cuts.

You can have fun; enjoy the movie, and support music and fine arts in our schools at the same time. A donation of $5.00 per person (or $20 per family) is suggested to benefit the WMS Fine Arts program.
