Mission:Golden Tones Chorus practices and provides enriching entertainment for senior facilities, schools, and public events. Members, of retirement age, sing and dance to lift spirits and promote health and social engagement for everyone involved.

Wayland Town Crier 6/9/11: Wayland residents helping to organize Race Amity Day. The National Center for Race Amity (NCRA) at Wheelock College in Boston, founded by Dr. William Smith, a longtime resident of Sudbury, is hosting the first “Boston Race Amity Day Celebration” on June 12. Gov. Deval Patrick and Mayor Thomas Menino are the honorary co-chairs of this “Festival for the Human Family” which will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Boston’s Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway and is open and free to the public. Music, entertainment and speakers, youth activities, local talent, multi-national food and fun for all ages will fill the afternoon.
