School Committee, Board of Selectmen Races Will Be Contested

Wayland Patch 2/13/13: School Committee, Board of Selectmen Races Will Be Contested. Wayland’s 2013 Town Election has taken shape, with positions on the School Committee and the Board of Selectmen both contested. Donna E. Bouchard and Jeanne Downs will vie for the single seat on the School Committee being vacated by Shawn Kinney. In the Board of Selectmen race, Anthony Vincent Boschetto and David Gordon Cliff returned papers to run for the single seat being vacated by current Chairman John Bladon, who announced in January that he would not seek re-election.

Wayland Town Crier 2/13/13: Wayland town election will feature contested races. Susan Pope, who took out papers to run for a term on the Board of Selectmen in the upcoming town election, did not return her forms by the Tuesday deadline. Tony Boschetto and David Gordon Cliff both returned papers, creating a contested race for a three-year seat on the board. John Bladon, current selectmen chairman, previously said he would not run for re-election.
