Wayland Town Crier 2/14/13: School Committee to revisit discussion of WaylandCares The School Committee last week voted to support the work of WaylandCares, but stopped short of recommending the town fund the group’s budget request for $102,000, which would create a new department within town government. WaylandCares, a community coalition supporting responsible youth decision-making, has so far been underwritten by grant money, and there is uncertainty about whether this source of funding will continue.
