Wayland resident inducted into Jewish Sports Hall of Fame

Wayland Patch 5/4/13: Wayland resident inducted into Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Bruce Cohen, a resident of Wayland, was inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, located in Commack, N.Y., on April 21, 2013.

Bruce was a three-time All-America at Cornell, and helped lead the 1966 team to a 12-0 record. After college Cohen played club lacrosse, first with the L.I. Lacrosse Club and then with the NYAC team. He was honored with being a Club All-Star 9 years out of 10 and in 1974, Bruce was selected for the USA team.
