Candidates running for Selectman and School Committee will be participating in the 16th annual Ask the Candidates Live! Q&A/Call-In program on Wayland cable TV on Thursday, March 20, 2014, 7-9:30pm
This year, the program will feature three segments. Here is the schedule for when the candidates will be featured:
- 7:00pm – 8:00pm: Candidates for the 3 year term on the Board of Selectmen will be featured.
- 8:05pm – 8:35pm: Candidates for the 1 year term on the Board of Selectmen will be featured.
- 8:40pm – 9:25pm: Candidates for the School Committee will be featured.
Viewers can find the program on Comcast channel 9 and Verizon channel 38. Former Town Moderator Peter Gossels will serve as host once more.
This show is unique in Wayland politics in that it is a live broadcast during which viewers at home can call the studio at 508-358-3742 to ask their questions directly to the candidates. Mr. Peter Gossels will field the calls and may ask some questions of his own if there is time.
For those unfamiliar with the program, this is the 24th year of production, and it has proven a very useful tool in informing the voters before the election. The program will be rebroadcast before the Town Elections on April 1 and will also be available for streaming online at WayCAM.tv.
