Wayland Town Crier 10/30/14: Wayland School Committee’s summit yields many ideas. On a recent Sunday afternoon, the Wayland School Committee hosted its first ever School Committee Summit. The idea for the summit came in response to the town’s Finance Committee asking for each town department’s input into its long-range planning process. The School Committee wanted to get the community’s input in its planning for the future of the Wayland schools. The summit was attended by over a hundred community and school staff members. Superintendent Paul Stein began the afternoon reviewing the purpose of the summit and the intended outcome of the afternoon.
