Wayland Town Crier 12/18/14: Wayland selectmen to look into business licenses. After complaints earlier this year that Wayland Automotive, located next to Mel’s Plaza on Rte. 30, was violating the terms of its license to sell used cars, the Board of Selectmen recently recommended that certain enterprises need to obtain special permits from the Zoning Board of Appeals. The selectmen made the recommendation in anticipation of the Jan. 1 deadline to renew business licenses in the community.
