Wayland Resident To Run The Boston Marathon in support of Boston Children’s Hospital

Boston Children's HospitalChristine Cocce, a Wayland High Alum of the class of 2012 and current junior at Boston College is running the Boston Marathon this April for Boston Children’s Hospital. Her first 26.2 mile race, Cocce is running for Children’s because of her history with the hospital:

When I was in seventh grade I found out I had severe scoliosis. With the help and guidance of world-class doctors at Boston Children’s Hospital, I chose to wear a brace for 18 hours a day for two years. At the time I didn’t want anyone to know about my condition, but now I want to give back to the hospital that helped me. This year I’m running the Boston Marathon to give every child the chance to get the exceptional care that I was lucky enough to receive.

As a spectator at the 2013 Boston Marathon, I saw countless acts of courage and love in response to tragedy. I am so proud to call Boston my home.

Please support my run anChristine Cocced the Miles for Miracles team by making a donation today to help me meet my $6,000 commitment! As little as $5 makes such a difference!
