SENIOR FLU CLINICS SCHEDULE
The Wayland Health Department will once again be offering FREE Appointment-based Flu Vaccination Clinics for our seniors. High-Dose Flu Vaccine geared to those aged 65 and older and Seasonal Quadrivalent Flu Vaccine will be available.
We will also offer the NEW PREVNAR 13 Pneumococcal Vaccine (Pneumonia) only for those aged 65 and older who have not yet received this vaccine.
There is no out of pocket expense but insurance cards are necessary to provide for reimbursement so future vaccine may be purchased. Clinics start Thursday September 17, please contact the Health Department at 508-358-6805 for an Appointment. Please remember to bring your insurance cards.
COMMUNITY FLU CLINICS SCHEDULE
The Wayland Health Department along with our Wayland Resident Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Volunteers will be providing FREE Flu Vaccine Clinics for ALL interested individuals. Flu clinics will be held at the Town Building Large Hearing Room on the following dates:
- October 7 2-7pm
- October 14 2-7pm
- October 28 2-7pm
There is no out of pocket expense but insurance cards are necessary to provide for reimbursement so future vaccine may be purchased. Injectable and Mist Seasonal Flu Vaccine will be available, as well as a limited supply of Pneumococcal and Tdap vaccine for those individuals who meet the criteria set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH).
