Register by November 22. Do you have bikes you no longer use taking up space in your garage or shed? The WHS Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team is partnering with charitable organizations that refurbish bikes and provide them to people in need. To raise funds for items not covered in the budget of the Athletic Department, the Lacrosse Team will pick up your bikes for $30 per bike. Of course, we are happy to accept larger donations, and we can provide receipts for tax purposes. Your participation in this fundraiser benefits the Boys Lacrosse Team and people who otherwise would not have a bike. We ask that you provide bikes that are in reasonably good condition. Please register for this fundraiser no later than November 22 by sending an email to bikes4whslax@gmail.com with the number of bikes you are giving, your address, and confirmation of your total donation based on $30-plus per bike. Checks should be made payable to Wayland High School Boosters, indicating WHS Boys Lacrosse in the memo line of the check. Please have the bikes in your yard on December 5 with your check in an envelope taped to one of the bikes. The Lacrosse Team will pick up the bikes throughout the day on December 5, starting at 8am.
