Adult volunteers wanted to roll out Happy Hollow cafeteria lunch food composting program

green-team-compostingHappy Hollow is delighted to roll-out this new “green school” composting initiative and we are looking for adult volunteers to help train our students on how to properly sort and compost cafeteria food left overs. A Wayland School Cori must be on file prior to entering the building.
Everyone benefits from your involvement; the environment, our children, our recently upgraded garden and our community as a whole. Students have already started composting and just need some helpful reminders and instructions. We are looking for one to two parents per 11:30-1:30pm for two weeks beginning December 5th. We will have a quick training on December 2nd from 10-12pm (it will probably take under an hour, but this affords the opportunity to view the cafeteria if you are interested). Please register using the Volunteer link below – and thank you!
