The WBA brings “Warrior Tank” to Wayland High School

Wayland Business Association Members Dave Larson (Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Fitness), Chris Riffle (Baystate Financial), Paul Morenberg (Law Office of Paul W. Morenberg), and Donna Testa (Century 21 Commonwealth), all did their best shark impressions as they evaluated and invested in product ideas from Wayland High School Students’ Entrepreneurship Class.

Under the tutelage of Wayland High School Business teacher, Fred Lehmann, the classes decide on products to bring from concept to sale, then build teams with CEOs, CFOs, CMOs and learn the ups and downs of the long road to making real money!

This year’s products included D’Jerky (a beef jerky), Waykool (Wayland branded Koozies), Walking Warrior (a Wayland branded dog leash) and Chargewear (a wearable iphone recharger).  All products were well vetted and each product received funding from the Wayland Business Association sharks.

If you’re interested in purchasing any of the products and supporting Wayland High School, visit the Facebook page of each business by clicking on the links above; talk to a Wayland High School student; or you can email Fred Lehmann. We’re hoping to build on this year’s success to bring an open-to-the-public community event in years to come!

Below are 2 of the teams that received funding:
