PLEASE NOTE: At its meeting on February 6th, the Finance Committee voted to reduce the school operating budget by $314,566 or by approximately 1%.  These reductions are not reflected in the School Committee’s recommended budget and are currently under discussion.  The Committee will present any changes, if any, to the recommended budget at its Budget Hearing, which will be held on Monday, February 13th.

FINANCE COMMITTEE BUDGET PRESENTATION

• The Finance Committee’s FY2018 Budget Presentation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 7:15pm in the Large Hearing Room located in the Town Building.
• The School Committee will hold a meeting in the School Committee Room, following the Finance Committee’s Budget Presentation, to further discuss the School FY2018 Operating and Capital Budgets.

The Wayland School Committee also invites all interested Wayland residents to examine and review the proposed FY2018 School Budget (see below) and to attend its Budget Hearing on Monday, February 13th.

• Residents may also get a printed copy of the Proposed School Budget at the Office of the Superintendent in the Town Building during normal working hours or may request that a copy be mailed to them at their Wayland address by calling 508-358-3763.
