Wayland Town Crier 2/8/17: Wayland resident wins Holbein Award. Wayland resident Maryann Goblick received the Holbein Award for her painting “Apples and Bittersweet” in the 2017 New England Watercolor Society Signature Members Show, on exhibit through Feb. 26 at the Guild of Boston Artists, 162 Newbury St., Boston.

Minnesota-based watercolorist Andy Evansen was this year’s exhibition judge. The show is free to attend, and the hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
