“Not My Kid”, March 7 at Natick Hill School

“Not My Kid”, Tuesday, March 7 at 7pm, at Natick High School Auditorium (15 West St, Natick)

Cory Palazzi, a recovering Heroin Addict will tell his story of how he went from being a Varsity High School Athlete and National Honor Society Member to becoming a Heroin Addict. This devastating journey began with a baseball injury that required surgery and a prescription of opiates for pain management. Cory became addicted to the pain medication and eventually, this addiction led him to use Heroin. In 2013, Cory suffered a Heroin overdose, which has left him permanently disabled.

This flyer provides more information about this event which is free of charge and open to everyone. Our communities have been hit hard with the opiate crisis and we are losing too many people to this horrible addiction.

Motivated by the devastation caused by the opiate abuse epidemic in Natick, a small group of mothers formed SOAR in June of 2014. Our hope is to help raise awareness of addiction, reduce stigma, support recovery and sponsor community outreach initiatives.

Please join us for this very important event.
