Wayland Town Crier 3/8/17: Wayland takes aim at plastic bags. The town could soon join other communities which have approved regulations to reduce the use of plastic bags and polystyrene. Wayland would be among dozens of other Massachusetts communities that have restricted the use of at least one of the products, which environmentalists worry are discarded as litter, harm wildlife and have other effects.
