Public Forums — View New Library Building Plans At the Wayland Free Public Library, 5 Concord Road, Wayland, on March 23, 7 p.m. and on March 25, at 10 a.m. The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners is offering construction grants to cities and towns across the state to improve library services. In January, the Wayland Board of Library Trustees submitted an application for a state-funded library construction grant to build a new library in Wayland. The Trustees are sponsoring an article at Annual Town Meeting to finalize the application, and we invite Wayland residents to meet with Tappe Architects of Boston and the Trustees to learn about the proposed new library project.  Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the preliminary design concept included in the construction grant application, the project timeline, and the Town Meeting article to authorize the application’s submission for review by the state.  We hope to see you there. For more information, contact Aida Gennis, Chair, Board of Library Trustees, at or Dana Mastroianni, Director, WFPL at
