Metrowest Daily News 6/19/17: Campout brings dads, kids together. As a bass trombonist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, James Markey is often working on weekends. But for Father’s Day weekend, Markey enjoyed some quality outdoor time with his children – Jamie, 9, Thomas, 5, and Eleanor, 12. The Markeys were among about 200 fathers and children who participated in the Dad and Me Campout run by the Wayland Dads organization and Wayland Recreation. Campers swam, played field games and pick-up sports matches, enjoyed a campfire and watched a movie on a screen set up outdoors.
