Originally created by the Selectmen in 2009 as the Energy Initiatives Advisory Committee, it was charged with advising the town on energy and energy-related programs and grants. The new Energy and Climate Committee’s role is to advise on all issues related to reducing energy use and mitigating climate risks. We’ll talk with Co-Chair Ellen Tohn and member Tom Sciacca about what they’ve accomplished and what the future holds for their committee. Airs starting June 25. This will be our last program until September.
