Boston Globe 8/4/17: Wayland signs deal on Route 20 apartment project. An Atlanta-based developer will purchase and clean up a town-owned property on Route 20 in Wayland if the builder is allowed to erect 188 rental apartments on the site, according to an agreement signed by the builder and selectmen last month. The move would allow the town to add land to its property tax rolls, and the development would increase the number of affordable housing units available in Wayland, Town Administrator Nan Balmer said.
