With a key municipal approval in hand, recreation officials hope construction of a controversial field at Oxbow Meadows can start in September. The field, to be located by the intersection of Oxbow and Trout Brook roads, would likely open in fall 2018, after grass has had sufficient time to grow, Recreation Commission Chairman Asa Foster said Friday.
