Observe Yom HaShoah – Holocaust Remembrance

Open Spirit and Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma’yan Tikvah will co-host an observation of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day through an evening of prayer, reflection, a discussion about the impact of collective trauma on future generations, and pay tribute to the victims of the Holocaust.

The discussion will include passages from Survivor Cafe: The Legacy of Trauma and the Labyrinth of Memory, by Elizabeth Rosner, which highlights several traumatic events and their generational effects.* *Reading the book beforehand is suggested, but is not required for participation.

All are welcome to attend this interfaith remembrance.
