Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable

Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization of men and women incorporated in 1999. The goal of the Roundtable is to raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence through community education and networking and to improve the coordination between public and private services for victims and families touched by domestic violence.

Wayland, Let’s Do Lunch!

Every weekday in Wayland a dedicated team of volunteers criss-crosses the town delivering hot meals to residents who find it hard to grocery shop or cook for themselves. The benefits go far beyond nutrition for both recipients and volunteers. Many relationships span years. Take a look:

Get to know some Wayland residents you might not meet otherwise, and meet some important needs in your community. It takes about an hour. To volunteer to deliver Meals on Wheels – regularly, seasonally, or as an on-call substitute — contact Volunteer Coordinator Ann Gordon (agordon@wayland.ma.us) at the Wayland Council on Aging, 508-358-2990.
