The School Committee has heard five suggestions for later start times at the middle and high schools, but when a decision on the practice will be made remains unclear. “I’m not certain when the committee will decide this. It’s possible it could happen July 9,” Chairwoman Ellen Grieco told the Daily News. The school department wants the committee to pick one of the suggestions this summer to leave time to work out logistics when the later start time is rolled out in fall 2019, Grieco said.
