Wayland board OKs parking on Rte. 126 near Jewish temple

Wayland Town Crier 7/22/18: Wayland board OKs parking on Rte. 126 near Jewish temple. The Planning Board voted this week to amend a permit to allow for parking on Concord Road (Rte. 126) at Congregation Or Atid during the Jewish High Holidays, even after a resident said an obstructed view from a nearby road nearly got her into a terrible accident last fall. [Tuesday’s Planning Board vote comes with conditions, including: no on-street parking within 105 feet of the center line of the Claypit Hill Road intersection, in order to provide a clear view of oncoming cars; no parking on Training Field and Claypit Hill roads, and Glezen Lane; and Or Atid must report back to the Planning Board in a year to discuss how on-street parking is working out.]
