Selectmen on a split vote last week approved a traffic mitigation plan from Baystone Development for its Danforth Green proposal on the Framingham line, with a payment that is just over half the amount promised by a previous developer. The proposal calls for a 360-unit non-age-restricted development on Old Connecticut Path (reduced from the original 525 units) and preservation of 80-plus adjacent acres for open space, conservation and recreation. Baystone has agreed to complete installation of traffic signals and road improvements at the intersection of Old Connecticut Path and West Plain Street for its infrastructure mitigation.
