New MWRTA routes to offer direct pickup for Wayland residents

Wayland Town Crier 8/2/11: New MWRTA routes to offer direct pickup for Wayland residents. The Metrowest Regional Transit Authority is pleased to announce that Routes 10 and 11 have been modified to provide direct pickup at Bent Park and the Cochituate School housing facilities in Wayland beginning Aug. 1. Route 10 service from these locations run hourly from approximately 7:15 a.m. to 7:10 p.m. on Monday through Friday, with Saturday service running from approximately 10:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Route 11 service from these locations run hourly from approximately 8:51 a.m. to 1:51 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Routes 10 and 11 make regular stops at the Downtown Natick and West Natick MBTA commuter rail stops as well as the Natick Mall, Christmas Tree Shops, Roche Bros., Building 19, MetroWest Medical Center and Dairy Queen, as well as providing connections to MWRTA and MBTA service areas. Cash fares are $1.50 for adults, $1 for students, and 75 cents for seniors age 65 and older and riders with disabilities. Additional savings available when using MBTA Charlie Cards. Transfer coupons for other MWRTA routes are available at no cost within certain timeframes.
