Community Discusses Options, Plans for Wayland Elementary Schools

Wayland Patch 10/25/12: Community Discusses Options, Plans for Wayland Elementary Schools. Wayland is once again looking at the configuration of its elementary schools, but this time, the process is designed around public input and a thoughtful, calculated discussion. Superintendent Paul Stein organized the Elementary Building Use Task Force to “identify options and priorities regarding the utilization of elementary space, and conduct a cost/benefit analysis for each option to ensure an equitable, high quality educational program for all students.”

Wayland Town Crier 11/1/12: Six options for reconfiguration of elementary school buildings. The Elementary Building Use Task Force presented six possible options last week for how to configure the town’s current lower-level schools should rising enrollments stretch resources. Superintendent Paul Stein repeatedly stressed that he and the committee are “still listening” and that “new ideas are welcome.”
