Metrowest Daily News 6/12/12: State poised to cover Wayland, Sudbury school projects. School roof projects in Sudbury and Wayland were put onto the fast track last week, making each of them eligible to receive funding in the six-figure range. Sudbury’s Nixon Elementary School and Wayland Middle School were among 15 schools whose applications made it through the 2012 round of the Massachusetts School Building Authority program, which reimburses districts for a part of the cost of repairing roofs, doors, windows, or boilers. The schools must submit a feasibility plan for their projects before they are officially accepted.
