Bird Identification for Beginners

Three Sessions, Date: (sessions 1-2) Tuesday, May 5/ Thursday May 7; (session 3) Saturday, May 9 , Time: (sessions 1-2) 7:00-9:00pm ; (session 3) 6:30-9:30am. Location: (sessions 1-2) @Wolbach Farm, Sudbury; (session 3) @ Heard Farm, Wayland. Leader/Speaker: SVT Executive Director Ron McAdow, who has been a novice birder for thirty years. This three-session mini-course will teach beginners how to identify the groups of birds commonly seen in Eastern Massachusetts west of Boston. In the two evening sessions, participants will practice identifying birds from slides. On Saturday morning, we will take our new skills into the field, to try out on real birds.
