Wayland Town Crier 7/2/09: ‘Wayland A-Z’: ‘N’ is for ‘Native Americans’. Relations were relatively peaceful between early settlers to the area and Native Americans, who sold the settlers land and taught them skills, such as farming, hunting and fishing.
