Sudbury Town Crier 7/2/09: MICAH wins campaign to boost town revenues. According to the Mass Municipal Association, (MMA) closing the almost hundred-year old tax exemption on telephone poles will bring in $118,892 in Wayland. The new 2 percent local option tax on motel and hotel rooms would bring no revenue for hotel/motel taxes.
