Saturday, September 25, 5th Annual Touch a Truck, Wayland Middle School, 10am-1pm

Touch a Truck returns!  Little kids and big kids enjoy a morning of fun behind the steering wheel of a big rig, front end loader, pick up truck, ambulance, fire engine, police cruiser, backhoe and more.  There will also be a dunk tank with our star guest (Adrian Gomes), moon bounce and other inflatables, snow cones, entertainment, face painter, balloons.  Look for details in Recreation's fall brochure mailed in mid-August.  Climb in and on town trucks while department employees explain the vehicles' "bells and whistles".  Meet your friends and have fun.

Thank you to DPW, Police, Fire and School Departments for their help.

Last fall, there were 1200 people in attendance at Touch a Truck.  If you would like to be a sponsor, or you are a community group that would like to get involved in the Fall 2010 event, please contact the Recreation office at 508-358-3660 or email jkiburz@wayland.ma.us

Other Activities:  moonbounce, Adrian Gomes in Dunk Tank, free raffle, obstacle courses, face painting, food and drinks, entertainment, local business tables and lots of vehicles
