Wayland Town Crier 6/10/10: Longtime School Committee member resigns mid-term. School Committee member Jeff Dieffenbach has decided to step down in the middle of his term after being re-elected last year, having served a decade on the School Committee. Prior to that, he previously served five years on the Finance Committee. Dieffenbach said he chose to resign because he took a new job with educational publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt at the beginning of February, and realized he would no longer have the same control over his travel schedule.
