Cocktail Party/Fundraiser for La Casa de Fe, April 18

Wayland resident Marni Roitfarb is hosting a cocktail party/fundraiser for La Casa de Fe, an orphanage in rural Ecuador that cares abandoned and special needs children in the heart of the Amazon.  Marni is a pediatrician who specializes in kids with complex needs, and has worked with Casa de Fe (CdF)  for 5 years and has personally witnessed the miracles that the founder, Pattie Sue, and her staff create for these children. If not taken in by CdF, these children would either be killed by their communities (since children with special needs as seen an evil omen) or placed in jail since this rural area has no government programs (like Social Services) to care for such children. Instead these children are given a loving home, food, shelter, medical care and therapies far beyond local capacity, an education, and most of all HOPE.

Please join Marni at a cocktail party at her house in Wayland with Founder and Director Pattie Sue Arnold on Wednesday April 18 starting at 6pm.  Pattie Sue will talk about her work, tell stories about a few of the children and answer any questions. This is an opportunity to meet an amazing woman doing ground-breaking working under the most trying conditions. Please come celebrate all that has been accomplished and become a part of the bright future ahead! (Note: Pattie Sue will be staying in Wayland all week if that time doesn't work and you'd like to meet up.)  To RSVP, please contact Marni Roitfarb

Since Casa de Fe is an independent organization, they fully rely on private donations to meet their needs. Any donations are certainly welcome but not mandatory. If you are unable to make the party but would like to donate or perhaps volunteer, please feel free to contact Marni or make a donation through their website.
