This June not only marks a big step in a senior’s life, but also in the life of their parents. Who says all the celebrating is the exclusive right of the graduates? For the past three years, Wayland parents have enjoyed their own Graduation Party, and this year is no exception. Parents of WHS seniors should mark their calendars for Saturday, May 5th, 8 – 11 PM at Sandy Burr for what has become a Wayland tradition. Hosted by Sandy Burr Country Club and Mid-Life Crisis Band (including two members with WHS graduates this year), this is a fun night to reacquaint yourself with other parents you may not have seen for years. In addition, parents who feel musically inclined are encouraged to join the band for a song (vocal or instrumental). $5 pp at the door. Cash bar.
