September Exhibits: This year’s annual fall exhibit by the Sudbury Valley Nature Photographers features the work of 23 local photographers, with a focus on a wide variety of wildlife images. It will be up through October 29. In the foyer for September, the library staff has created an exhibit that highlights library collections and services. The display also includes a tribute to the late Perry Hagenstein, long-time library trustee.
Dolls by Rita Hernandez: Drop by the lower level exhibit case and marvel at the wonderful hand-made dolls by award-winning fabric artisan, Rita Hernandez, a long-time Wayland resident. One of Rita’s dolls is now on tour around the U.S. and another was highlighted in a magazine article. Some of her dolls are based on children’s book and folktale characters.
