Candidate Statement:
Let’s try to answer the question, “What do I wish for Wayland?” – I wish for all town residents to participate in the creative evolution of an ever-improving Wayland community. A community that expresses itself through a local government that is compassionate, cost-effective, and encourages all to share their understanding, talents, and capabilities.
This is an election for the Board of Selectmen but my participation is about more than just this election. This is but a step in a long-term effort to confront what I see as Wayland’s “problems” and to help promote people’s understanding that it is within their power to make local government anything they desire it to be. Together, we can make it cost efficient and we can make it more community spirited.
If I am able to make any small contribution in this regard, I will be pleased.
