Boy Scouts from Troop 1 Cochituate are running sock drive

Boy Scouts from Troop 1 Cochituate are running a sock drive at the Wayland Public Schools to collect socks for the homeless.

Socks are an item that homeless people constantly need and they are not often donated so the boys decided to collect socks as part of their Citizenship in the Community merit badge.

Donations of new socks, any size or color, cotton or wool blend, can be made at any of the schools in Wayland. Collection boxes are located in the front lobby through April 17.
