Congratulations to the Wayland Elementary students who participated in the Earth Day Poster Contest. It was very difficult to select winners because there were so many fabulous entries! After much deliberation, we are pleased to announce the winners in the following age categories:
Grades K–1 – Kate Clifford, Loker School
Grades 2-3 – Erin Lyons, Happy Hollow
Grades 4-5 – Emily Wang, Claypit Hill
The three selected posters are shown below and will also be published in the April 8, 2010 edition of the Wayland Town Crier, and all submissions will be displayed at the Wayland Earth Day Celebration at the Town Building on Sunday April 11, 2010.
