An unprecedented European travel disruption has put overseas spring break trips in doubt for area high schools and left stranded residents waiting to return home. In Wayland, 16 students taking French and two teachers had been scheduled to leave Thursday for the high school's annual weeklong Paris trip. But with flights unavailable until the middle of this week at the earliest, the trip was canceled.
