Music & Movement with Miss Karina at The Discovery Museums’ Half-Price Friday Night

The Museums will collect donations for the Acton Food Pantry
 
The Discovery Museums’ Summer Half-Price Friday Nights continue this Friday with the ever-popular Music & Movement with Ms. Karina, a drop-in program from 6:00 – 8:00pm.  Families can come and explore sound through singing and playing with music educator Karina Bertrand—and have fun!   
 
Program is free with admission.  Half-price admission starts at 4:30pm ($5.25 for adults and kids, $4.75 for Seniors 60+, free for children under 1 and Members); the museums will stay open late, until 9:00pm. Families are invited to pack a picnic and enjoy the campus in the evening.  The VeeBop ice cream truck will be here from 5:30 – 7:30pm to serve up frosty treats.

Active duty military personnel and up to five immediate family members may visit the museum for free.
 
Collections for the Acton Food Pantry
The Discovery Museums will collect donations for the Acton Food Pantry on Fridays as party of this special family promotion.  AFP’s wish list items include spaghetti sauce, 100% fruit juice, canned fish, macaroni & cheese, toilet paper, baby food and diapers.
