CHILDREN’S HOLIDAY SHOPPE, Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2:30-5: 00pm., Hearing Rm.  This is a Wayland tradition …our 23rd year!   It’s that time of year again! Volunteer elves will assist the children (K-5th grade) to shop for holiday gifts. Free gift wrapping will keep the gifts for family and friends a surprise. Parents/Grandparents may wait for their little shoppers in our festive lounge (also located in the Hearing Room). Refreshments served.

LINCOLN HANDBELL CHOIR, Wednesday, Dec. 8, 10:30am.  The Lincoln Bell Ringers will perform at our Holiday Coffee Hour. This choir performs with a four octave set of bells.  No Charge

ANNUAL COOKIE EXCHANGE, Wednesday, Dec. 8, 11:30 am. Bring three dozen cookies and the recipe and exchange them for three dozen assorted cookies and lots of recipes! (If your batch yields greater than three dozen, please bring the extras; we will be taking them to the Parmenter Food Pantry.)

HOLIDAY LUNCHEON with music by the VICTORIAN CAROLERS, Wednesday, Dec. 15, Noon.  Full luncheon (Stuffed Shells, Meatballs, Salad, Rolls, dessert and more),  door prizes, $7 per person.  Make your reservation early.

MOVIES:  All movies are free of charge and start promptly at 12:30pm. Complimentary refreshments.  Bring a friend – bring your lunch.

TAI CHI for STRESS REDUCTION  Next seesion starts Dec. 6, Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30am with Robin Natanel. Hearing Room.  Pre-pay for the 4 Wed sessions in December: $20 (or $8/class).

BETTER BALANCE  starts January 7. 2010. Fridays, 10:30-11:30am with Leslie Worris of the Wellness Alliance.  Pre-Registration. 4 wks: $25, Hearing Room.

ZUMBA – Every Wednesday, Town Building Gym, $6.00/class.  A fun cardio work-out to the dynamic rhythms of Latin and International music.

Take a stroll through “THE ENCHANTED VILLAGE” – a true New England tradition.  Thursday, Dec. 9, Lv. 9:30am. $20.  This is the restored village from Jordan Marsh’s Boston store on display at Jordan’s Furniture in Avon. “ART OF THE AMERICAS” at the Museum of FINE ARTS, Thursday, January 27, $40. Join us on a guided tour to see the new wing of the Museum!  “Art of the Americas” showcases more than 5,000 works of art produced in North, Central and South American over the course of three millennia.  Art in all media is arranged chronologically on four floors. Price includes, transportation, admission, guided tour.  Lunch on your own. Call to sign up.
