Wayland Town Crier 1/13/11: Deja View: Second blockbuster snowstorm blankets MetroWest. As the second major snowstorm of the winter dumped 18 to 20 inches of snow on MetroWest, many people burrowed in at home and waited out the nasty nor'easter. That was key to the efficient cleanup and a relatively low accident count, state and local officials said yesterday. "The road situation is very encouraging," Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency spokesman Peter Judge said yesterday afternoon. "A lot of people stayed home." Judge said towns reported no serious car accidents or injuries during the worst of the storm yesterday morning.
