SAVE THE DATE-The Golden Tones Chorus, under the sponsorship of the Wayland Busines Association, will be joining musical forces with the Wayland High School Honors Jazz Band, under the direction of Joe Oneschuk, to present and evening of jazz favorites. The concert will take place on Feb. 15th at 7:30 PM at the WHS Little Theater. The Wayland Middle School Jazz Band, under the baton of Diane Muffitt, will also be on the bill of musical fare.

 

This intergenerational evening will give the Golden Tones an opportunity to sing some big band numbers not often seen in their repertoire and will give the jazz band a chance to accompany a chorus, something that jazz ensembles rarely do. 

 

The love of music and the enthusiasm of all groups participating will have the audience tapping their toes and snapping their fingers. This is a family concert all will enjoy, so invite family, friends, and neighbors to an evening of wonderful jazz.
