WCPA seeking Kids Clothing Donations

Please help the Wayland Children and Parents Association make their first Kids Clothing Swap a success. The WCPA is currently soliciting donations of used (but, please, in good condition) clothing for kids ages 0-6 years. This includes shoes, outerwear, hats, and bathing suits. The Swap starts at 7:30 p.m. on March 23rd, but if you donate clothing or volunteer to help sort clothing, you’ll get early admission at 7pm. So, please gather your children’s outgrown clothing, sort and bag it. You can drop off your clothes at different locations around town, at all WCPA events, or someone will come to your house and pick up your donation. Pick up dates are March 8th and 15th and limited to areas in Wayland, Weston, Sudbury and Wellesley. Email Julie Suratt for information on drop off locations and pick up times. Clothing donations must be received by March 20. All clothes remaining at the end of the night will be donated to Cradles to Crayons and Room to Grow. The Kids Clothing Swap will be held on March 23rd in the Large Hearing Room at the Wayland Town Building at 7:30pm. A $20 entrance fee ($25 for non-members) gets you all the items that will fit into a WCPA tote bag. Visit the WCPA web site for more information.
