On Wednesday, March 2, 2011, Wayland Police responded to four Motor Vehicle Burglaries. One burglary occurred on White Road, one on Oak Hill Road and two on Lakeshore Drive. All the burglaries occurred sometime between 4p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 and 8:19 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
Electronics and loose change appear to be the target. The Wayland Police Department Detective Division is investigating these crimes and asks anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity to contact them at 508-358-4721.
The Wayland Police Department reminds residents to lock their unattended vehicles when not in use. Additionally, we urge you not to leave electronics, cell phones, radar detectors, money and other valuable in your vehicles when not in use or locked.
