Wayland Town Crier 3/10/11: Wayland by the Way: From bagels to TD Bank. Bagels are no longer being finagled on Boston Post Road as the Wayland branch of the popular soup-salad-sandwich chain shuttered its windows and doors late last month to make room for a second TD Bank location in town. It was only a little more than a year ago, on Jan. 16, 2010, that TD Bank opened its first "store," as TD likes to call its branches, at the corner of Main Street and Commonwealth Road in the Cochituate part of town. At the time, the bank was also investigating the Finagle site, at 54 Boston Post Road just across from the Coach Grill, for an additional location.
